Advent to tour with Call To Preserve

Solid State metalcore outfit Advent (who feature ex-members of sorely missed post-hardcore act Beloved) have announced a couple week's worth of summer tour dates.

The routing kicks off with hardcore heavyweights Reign Supreme's new album release show on June 28 in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, followed by an appearance at this year's Cornerstone festival. Facedown hardcore kids Call To Preserve join the routing from July 4 onward.

Advent's sophomore LP, Naked And Cold, hits stores on Aug. 25. It follows up last year's debut, Remove The Earth.

Post-hardcore Texans Memphis May Fire have posted the track "North Atlantic vs North Carolina" from their debut album Sleepwalking due July 21st on Trustkill. Click to listen on their Myspace.

The band will tour in July with Fear Before.

Taking Back Sunday to play two more dates with Blink-182

Taking Back Sunday has added two new tour dates with Blink-182 in Kansas City, Kansas (9/4) and Columbia, Maryland (8/20). The Columbia date is the Virgin Mobile Free Fest. Get your free tickets here. Check out their Myspace for the rest of TBS' dates on the tour.

Four Letter Lie release album details

Parting ways with a singer/guitarist hasn't left post-hardcore unit Four Letter Lie stranded. Instead, the group are hard at work on their new album, which will be called A New Day and hit stores September 15 via Victory Records. Until then, you can check out a video of the band discussing their favorite up-and-coming bands on MTV below.
