Sublime play show with new singer

Tim Karan on 3/3/09 @ 6:45 PM

Legendary ska-punk/alt-rock act Sublime played a reunion set of sorts this past weekend in Sparks, NV.

Del Mar, a punk act featuring former Sublime drummer Bud Gaugh, had just finished their set at the Cantina Los Tres Hombres restaurant. Gaugh was then joined by Sublime bassist Eric Wilson and a lead vocalist/guitarist by the name of Rome, playing a set that included hits like "Wrong Way," "What I Got" and "Santeria."

"Sublime doesn't have any firm tour plans or anything YET, but we'll keep you posted on their progress," Del Mar later wrote on their MySpace page.

Sublime originally achieved massive mainstream success in the early-to-mid-`90s and went onto sell over 17 million albums worldwide. Members later went onto form the Long Beach Dub Allstars.
