Crooner Morrissey has reportedly been released from a U.K. hospital after he collapsed onstage last night at a show in the U.K. Morrissey--former vocalist for the Smiths--fell to the stage with difficulty breathing during the opening song, "This Charming Man." Two members of his band carried him off the stage and after nearly a half hour, a member of the crew took the stage to announce Morrissey had been taken to the hospital. The vocalist was admitted at Great Western Hospital around 9 p.m. A spokesperson for the hospital said last night, "He is being reviewed by the medical staff and his condition is stable." Tom DeLonge considering more back surgery

Alternative Press - Tim Karan on 10/24/09 @ 12:46 PM - altpress.com

Blink-182 guitarist/vocalist and Angels & Airwaves frontman Tom DeLonge has revealed that he's considering going under the knife for the second time to fix his ailing back. DeLonge originally suffered a slipped disc in his back in 2001, forcing Blink to cancel a planned tour of the U.K. He had surgery before the band embarked on the 2002 Pop Disaster Tour with Green Day.

DeLonge recently posted, "I am in the worst pain since my surgery. Welcome to my problems. Just as I need to finish my album and a major motion picture, I am crippled with back pain. Operation #2 is now in sight. Send me good energy. I can't even walk to my car."

The movie that DeLonge refers to is the long-awaited Angels & Airwaves motion picture, Love, which DeLonge promises we'll see a new trailer for later this week.
