Death Cab For Cutie preview New Moon single

Death Cab For Cutie have unveiled a portion of their song on the upcoming soundtrack to the Twilight sequel, New Moon. Listen to the snippet of "Meet Me On The Equinox" here. The entire song premieres on MTV.com this Sunday during the VMAs.

The New Moon soundtrack is available for pre-order here. Fans who pre-order will receive a download of the Death Cab song on Sunday.

AltPress Exclusive: Taking Back Sunday/All-American Rejects tour announced

Alternative Press has exclusively learned that two-time AP cover stars the All-American Rejects will be teaming up with four-time AP cover stars Taking Back Sunday for a co-headlining tour of epic proportions. Zero-time AP cover stars Anberlin will open. (Although Stephen Christian was on our Warped cover last year; does that count?)

Both TBS and AAR are taking part in this summer's Blink-182 reunion tour (dates), although never on the same show, so this should be the first time the two pop juggernauts have ever shared the stage outside of a festival setting.

Junius and GimmeSound give away The Martyrdom Of A Catastrophist

Ambient rockers Junius and GimmeSound have partnered up to give away the band's new full-length, The Martyrdom Of A Catastrophist, for free.

The record can be downloaded here.

The album's physical release is being handled by The Mylene Sheath; pre-orders for the deluxe CD and double LP releases are up here. It comes out on Nov. 10.

The Warped Tour 15th Anniversary party wrapped in Los Angeles after performances by Bad Religion and a huge ensemble featuring Tim Armstrong of Rancid and Ice-T who performed Pennywise's "Bro Hymn."


@minkus What an AMAZING night. This show was seriously incredible. The movie is going to be beautiful.
