Young Love have posted a new song to their MySpace page titled "Get Me Up."
The band wrapped recording on a new album earlier this year, though no new details have yet been announced. They last released Too Young To Fight It on Island/Universal in 2007.

Michigan punks North Lincoln have added four new songs to their MySpace page.
The tracks are taken from their upcoming full-length, Midwestern Blood, set for a release in December on No Idea. The band recently released a 7" single as part of the Art of the Underground series. Splits with You Me & The Atom Bomb (Yo Yo) and Gibbons (Salinas) arrived in 2007 and 2006, respectively. Their last proper full-length, Truth Is A Menace, came in 2004. The band have some scattered tour dates coming up. A stream of Fall Out Boy frontman Patrick Stump covering Kanye West's "Love Lockdown" has been uploaded. You can scope it here.
The song was apparently recorded for fun by Stump in GarageBand. "Love Lockdown" is actually the first single from Kanye's upcoming fourth studio album, 808s & Heartbreak, due for a November release on Roc-A-Fella / Island Def Jam. |

Canadian Christian melodic metalcore quartet Means have announced their eventual breakup via a MySpace blog posting. The band will officially call it a day after their upcoming Canadian headlining tour.
The band amassed a fairly sizable discography during their six-year run. Their full-lengths included 2004's In Red Grace (Lonely Tree), and 2007's Sending You Strength and the more recent To Keep Me From Sinking, the last two of which were issued by Facedown. The self-released Means 2 An End EP appeared in 2003, as did the More Than Watchmen For The Morning EP in 2006 and a split with Blind Witness last year, the latter two via the Torque Recording Company. |

Fearless has added L.A. electo-rockers Funeral Party to the roster. The label says the band will be releasing their debut full-length soon.

New Jersey post-hardcore act Trophy Scars have posted an unmastered version of a new song, "Botanicas," over at their MySpace page.
The unsigned band is currently label shopping for their third full-length, Bad Luck. Their last, 2006's Alphabet. Alphabets., was released on The Death Scene. |
