TEGAN QUIN TALKS AGAINST ME! VIDEO, AUGUSTEN BURROUGHS SHOW, DRIVER'S LICENSE

Posted by Brian Shultz on 19-Aug-08 @ 09:05 PM

Tegan Quin, who you might know from this little act she plays in with her twin sister Sara, recently spoke about her ongoings.

Firstly, it seems as though she recently began shooting a video in Los Angeles alongside Against Me! for "Borne On The FM Waves Of The Heart." Quin guests on the song, which is lifted from AM!'s 2007 major label debut, New Wave.

Secondly, she will be co-headlining the Liner Notes event with author Augusten Burroughs September 4th in New York City at Housing Works Bookstore Cafe. Quin claims to be a "longtime" fan of the author, who is best known for penning 2002's Running With Scissors, which was made into a feature-length film of the same name several years later. Circa Survive's Colin Frangicetto will also play, while there will be readings from poet Elizabeth Seward and Anberlin frontman Stephen Christian. Quin says it will only be her third performance without Sara.

Lastly, the 28-year-old Quin is finally pursuing her driver's license.

She will soon embark on a fall tour (with her sister, of course) in support of 2007's The Con (Vapor / Sire).
